today it snowed. i'm out in fairfax, so that meant hanging out with my cats, shoveling the driveway, and taking an accidental 4-hour nap this afternoon. this whole snow-and-nap situation really threw a kink into my plan, which was to have a plan and stick to it, due to i have had a lot of no motivation and a lot of sadness recently. so i made a to-do list! but none of it got to-done.
point is: one thing i was going to do is buy the new animal collective album. couldn't; instead, listened to parts of it on hypemachine. it's finally started to click for me, and it's just so fucking joyous. favorite so far: summertime clothes. appropriate.
